Heya guys! I just wanna share my wig purchase from Lazada. It's not the first time I purchased something from the site but this is the first time I purchase a Wig from Lazada.

So far, I have no bad experience from my previous transactions with Lazada and I'm quite satisfied with it. However, I'm hearing stories specially on ordering wigs and other stuff that is catered from Taobao that apparently they receive their orders differently or rather incorrect or incomplete. So I was kinda paranoid when i tried ordering again upon hearing those stories but I risked it since I saw the sale wig I really wanted for my cosplay.


Lazada now caters the stuff being sold on Taobao. Taobao is a chinese online shopping website. Taobao has a lot of stuff specially if you need cosplay stuff. A lot of preorders are from here and very much affordable. However, if you don't know how to Chinese (like me), it'll be hard for you to navigate around Taobao. So it's better you reach out from your local online shop for pre-orders and wait for your items.

However, Lazada has now incorporated the stuff from Taobao (calling it Taobao Collections) which is much easier now since Lazada is in english. But not all Taobao stuff are being sold. It's still limited. So you have to check as much as possible if what new items they have from Taobao.

So I ordered this wig hoping everything will be alright XD Because it's what exactly I need and it's on sale. I took the effin' risk! XD

Originally, if you preorder this wig from your local online shop, the price is around Php1.4k - Php1.6k ($25-$30)

But in Lazada, it's only Php831 ($16). Almost half of it so yeah, I ordered it right away while hoping it's all gonna be alright XD

Took only two weeks before it arrived where they stated it's gonna be around a month since it's overseas and that was after Chinese New Year. So thumbs up for a super fast delivery :) And so it arrived! It's the actual wig from the picture that I got. I'm happy :)

So this is the package I received. Though it's not as a pleasing package as you expect, I'm fine with that since I'm more concerned with what's inside XD

And so it arrived with 2 packs. One is the Long Hair wig and the other one is the Twin clipons. With free hair net which is cool :)

So overall, I'm very much satisfied with the wig. I had no problems as well and it's COD. I'm glad everything was just as what I expected so I gave 5 stars on Lazada. (Thank you!)

Call me lucky for not experiencing any problems with Lazada as of now and I do hope in the near future :) But upon my experience with ordering wigs, I notice that some are quite tricky and misleading. Maybe that's why a lot of people tend to get their orders incorrectly. Here's the sample:

Sakura Kinomoto wig for only Php211.00??? ($4)

But that's clickbait~ they showed the cheapest price they could offer but if you check, there are options to choose from. So that Php211 is only styling wax. I don't know what's that but maybe it is the styling wax we're are talking about here and that's your Php211.

Now, clicking more will give you the other options and that's where the real price of the wig starts.

Per my understanding, WIG alone is worth Php 596.00 ($11)

See there, the original price of the wig is Php596 and if you choose the other options like with pigtails on or the cherry clip rather, the prices are all different. For some reason I had a hard time identifying each options since they do not seems to speak our local english terms here. For clip-ons or pigtails, they call it Tiger's Mouth which is i notice when I bought my long curly brown clip-on wig. They called it Double Tiger Mouth brown wig LOL! XD

So make sure you check if there are available options on your desired wig before clicking order because the cheapest price are only for clickbait :)
