Hashtag I <3 AYC

Hey there everyone! Last Friday, to celebrate our last day as morning shift (yes, BPO company thing XD) we decided to treat ourselves to a never been tried food treats somewhere near Quezon City (and it's because it's pay day XD). A colleague of mine has been looking out this cafe called Amo Yamie Crib. They currently have their newly opened branch here in Katipunan so yeah, we did and got curious to try it :)

Amo Yamie Crib Coffee Shop and Movie house has now 5 branches. Their main is in Angeles City, Pampanga. So for those Manilenos who wants to try this Cafe, we can go thru their branch here in Mendiola, Espana and now their new branch, in Katipunan.

So what in it with Amo Yamie Crib? FREAKSHAKES and the cute environment!! :D I've never been into a cozy-type of Cafe house so this is a first to me :)

Freakshakes are now getting popular. I've seen a lot online, wanted to go try but I just can't XD I need to have backups first and so when a colleague suggested Amo Yamie Crib, saw their servings and those freakshakes, ah--- I just said, "push! let's go there!" HAHAHAA!

Of course getting there was a bit of a problem. We're not really familiar in Katipunan, so we google for the best possible way but then we realize, it's not that hard to go there. Except for MRT of course and walking, but I guess, it was really easy to find this Cafe.

How to get there (from our route): Coming from BONI, we took MRT to get to Cubao the fastest way as we can and to avoid traffic. Then from Cubao we took LRT2 going to Katipunan. From Katipunan, we walk across overpass to jeepney terminals going to UP. Just tell manong driver to drop you at the Gate 3 of Ateneo University. You have to cross overpass from there and walk along the way (the way going back to katipunan) and look for Oracle Hotel. Amo Yamie Crib is on the 3rd floor of the building. So for easy landmarks, Oracle Hotel (you'll see this one very easy along the way) and in front of Ateneo University (gate 3). You can also walk from Katipunan to Oracle Hotel, if you're into walking though :)

The Place: Since it's our first time to this place and it's their soft opening on this newly opened branch, everything is new :D I mean I can still smell paint but that doesn't affect the cafe. The place is like a house with lots of rooms, cribs rather :) It's like you're playing bahay-bahayan with your friends. You get to choose which spot you want and just chill. They have 2nd floor so more chill spots to choose from :) Good thing when we arrive it's not that jam-packed although you can see how small the area is if this is going to be filled with people. I just thought it will be really crowded.









Aren't each cribs so cute? :) Your friends get to have your own space and enjoy your meal while chitchatting. My only concern is that, I feel everything so small. I find myself really big for this place XDD or maybe it's just me XD but in the end I enjoy everything :)

The Food: I ordered their largest, the Jav-Aladdin Drunk Dwarf <3 in a Mason Mug :) I enjoyed it! I thought it would be chocolate-y but it's more of whips and biscuits but still, I love it! I lost the taste when I drunk the milkshake because I ate everything on the top first which is really sweet.

So you order over the counter and they give you this. The same thing that Chatime has and once it vibrates, you go get your order. It's self-service brruuhh~ But the waiters can assist you if you're having a hard time :) This thing also includes hugot quotes which is fun because sometimes it hits you XD

Since it's their soft opening, their menu is limited than the other branch? I guess. These might be their best sellers :)

And what's so good about here is that their food is soooo affordable especially to those under tight budget (like me) You can enjoy the food, the place and your wallet is also very happy XDDD Ayos!

We also ordered fries~ Nacho Fries, Pizza Fries and  Nachos with extra cheese~ Just in case we'll be fed up with too much sweetness XD

Overall, it was really good. The people of AYC-Katips are friendly, the place is good for chill time although aircon's not yet enough (since it's their soft opening) but they'll work on it like they said :D So if you wanna go here, you can choose which of the 5 branches you want. If I'm going back here again, I'll try their other branch as well :D I'm gonna list down their info so please check them out :) I recommend it! :)
